Steven Patrick Morrissey

Steven Patrick Morrissey is a British songwriter-singer that played with The Nosebleeds in the 1970's and went one to play with The Smiths until the breakup of the band in 1987. The Nosebleeds were a punk rock band and The Smiths were an alternative rock band. After the breakup of The Smiths, Morrissey started his solo career and continued to play the sounds of the band. In the UK, his albums have produced ten Top10 singles. Morrissey has been said to be the most influential artist ever by NME music magazine.

Morrissey has reached a status that most artists do not reach until they are dead. Morrissey is not just in the spotlight for his singing career, he is an advocate for animal rights and vegetarianism. He also has a great deal to say about government officials. With all his feuds and questions regarding his sexuality, music and advocacies, Morrissey is always in the spotlight.
